Kristi Stanley & Running Blind is based in Southwest, VA / East TN area. The band's lead singer, Kristi Ison Stanley, is originally from Pikeville, KY. At 15, Kristi performed on the live radio show, Home Spun Country. The DJ, Tim Michaels, a musician as well, was quite impressed with her talent. Tim and Kristi formed the band Sandy River, opening for National acts like Kenny Chesney, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Ricochet. Kristi met her husband, Ralph Stanley II, while on vacation with her family in Nashville, sitting in at a taping of Prime Time Country. Two years later, the couple were married and raised two beautiful children. Staying home full time with her family has been a blessing. Now, Kristi has taken the all acoustic Grassicana route with her new band, Running Blind, including Randy Blevins, Tommy Austin, Vickie Austin, Ashley Davis, Travis Houck & Chad Love. Kristi's new single "Never Say Never" is from her debut solo album Heart Wide Open.
